MEDICAL EMERGENCIES

TORREVIEJA NHS HOSPITAL

There is 24 hr accident and emergency dept. and you should be ok speaking English. To find it go on the N332 towards Torrevieja and go past the Punta Prima roundabout, you will see a slip road on your right marked "Torrevieja SUR" take this and go to the first set of major traffic lights and turn left, over the roundabout and you will see the Hospital in front of you on the right.

MEDICAL CENTRE

The medical centre for this area is at Campoamor and although it is open 24hrs only go there to see a Doctor for normal medical things. Emergencies are handled at Torrevieja. You can see a doctor without being registered as long as you have your E111 or the new equivilent card. To find the medical centre, go on the N332 towards Cartagena. Past the roundabout with the Pyramid go along the strip with all the bars and restaurants and at the end of these take the slip road on the right. You then go past the DIY store come to the new roundabout and take the new road which goes back over the N332, turn left at the roundabout. You will see the new white building of the medical centre.
